Overview
Welcome to Morocco! Experience the wonders that Morocco offers with shopping in historic Medinas, regional cooking classes in Marrakech, a belly dancing class, a henna party, a ceramics workshop in Fez, a demonstration of Moroccan women’s fashion, visits to women’s cooperatives and relaxation in a hammam (traditional steam bath).
Included in all of these experiences will be cultural visits to Morocco’s Imperial Cities and World Heritage Sites. Accommodation will be in luxurious Riads (modernized traditional Moroccan homes) in Fez, Marrakech and Essaouira, and in boutique hotels in Rabat and Casablanca.

Tour Plan
After breakfast, meet your tour guide and discover the city of Marrakech, with stops at the 12th century Koutoubia Mosque, the 16th century Saadian’s Tombs and the 19th century Bahia Palace. After lunch, visit a craft co-operative to learn about Moroccan handicrafts. Feel as though you are travelling through time when you take a walk inside the maze-like alleyways of the souks, amongst the craftsmen and traders offering beautiful pottery, healing remedies, spices and silver jewellery. Take the walk inside the medina, ending at the World Heritage Site of Jamaa El Fna Square. Experience the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of this magical place complete with jugglers, fortune tellers, snake charmers, dancers and herbalists.

After breakfast, prepare yourself for the cooking class. This culinary experience will start with a visit to the Spice Museum, which has recently opened in Marrakech. Here you will learn about the spices used in Moroccan cuisine.
Then meet the chef who will welcome you to his kitchen and give you a choice of well-known Moroccan dishes to prepare: couscous with vegetables, or Tagines with vegetables and meat like lamb, goat or beef.
Prepare your lunch and savor the dishes you have prepared during this Moroccan cuisine workshop experience.
Then there is the option to have a spa treatment in the comfort of your Riad.

After breakfast, prepare yourself for another rich experience with a choice between a pottery and an embroidery workshop. Here you will learn about the process of preparing. You will learn how to handcraft some utensils, which can be shipped to your home address once they have been dried and cooked in the fire.
